Ok, tomorrow, it's on to the final step -- two coats of Future/Klear acrylic floor finish, and then I'll detach the figures from the bottle caps, line them up with the rest of the regiment, and (What else?) take a few more photographs to post here. Later in the week, it's time to start on that first squadron of cuirassiers. It will be nice to work on something else beside infantry for a while! And it seems to me that it might be high time for us to drop in on another conversation between the Grand Duke Irwin-Amadeus II and his faithful manservant Hives. Something about a recent wild boar hunt gone awry and a missing set of silver salt and pepper shakers at Krankenstadt Palace. What to do, what to do?

The Direktorenschelle would like to pass on congratulations on the raising of this very fine infantry regiment - a magnificent looking body of troops.
Additionally, The Direktorat has authorized (Code ID: OIIIIIIIO) Herr Hans Grossekugeln to attend on your court as the diplomatic representative for Herrschaden.
If you have no objection...

Looks like you've raised yourself a nice looking force. I'll try your black-tan-white method when I get started on my Nap French. If I ever get started on them!

And there's a rumor that a certain Duchess in Stagonia is chortling about some new silver salt and pepper shakers.

That is a wonderful unit and should be a source of pleasure to admire for many years. thank you for taking the trouble to share it with us.

I call those drum markings, 'stripes'.
