A Sittangbad Refight Update: Nearing the End of Move Five. . .

Here is a general overview of the tabletop, again from behind General MacDuff's lines, before the second melee has been resolved.  Look closely, and you'll see that MacDuff's hot-tempered hussars have charged von Tschatschke's cuirassiers once more while the latter's own hussars have begun withdrawing through Sittangbad and (almost) across the bridge.

Here is a closeup of the ensuing second cavalry melee of the game.  I must admit, this one took off quickly and reached fever pitch before I realized it.  Either way it goes, I am truly enjoying the experience given the miles that separate the three of us participating in the game.

Thank you, Peter. Greg is taking some good photos o the game to help ROss and I along in our command decisions. I'm lightening and cropping a few of them with Phothop Elements before sharing here at the GD of S blog. Happy New Year!

Best Regards,

Stokes

Good to see this progressing at such a brisk clip - the problem with online games is that they tend to lose momentum easily.

Yes, I agree. However, Greg is really doing his utmost to keep us on track. Of course, it helps to have an opponent like General MacDuff, who forces me to remain on my toes.
