Alllllllmost finsihed with Freiherr Wilhelm's Pioneer Battalion!

With the exception of a few touch-ups to some black lining and the protective coating of Future floor finish, which I’ll do this evening, may I present: Freiherr Wilhelm’s Pioneer Battalion, which is named for Bill McHenry in Texas, who generously gave me these Revell Prussians (and a few others) last October. More pictures to follow once the glossy coat is added. In the meantime, enjoy!

Very, very nice.

I was wondering whether, for Sittangbad, it is worth bothering with the 2nd Engineer battalion - for the Electoral side. After all, (as the attacking forces) there isn't much use for it, and it's likely to be the last unit onto the table.

You do have a way of bringing out detail and breathing life into these figures. Nice work!

Excellent work as always, Stokes. From far away and close up.

Stokes,

They are looking very good . . . as your figures generally do.

Sorry that you missed my call the other evening. I hope that you got the message about how I paint hat tape before you tackled it.

I'm kind of zonked right now on a pain pill (I've got an abscessed tooth -- dentist tomorrow, I hope).

Give my best to your charming Grand Duchess.
