And no surprise there really since there are only so many hours in the day, only so much mental and physical energy to spare, and you sometimes simply just have to give in and know when to say, um, "When!" More immediately, I'm recovering, mentally speaking, from a grueling Friday in which I was involved with three (online) conference sessions, one right after the other, followed by a 90-minute meeting at the end of the day. I wouldnt read anything into Macron's pronouncements. This little man is scrabbling for his political life and is desperate to appear presidential.His suggestion for the creation of a European Army is one of the reasons why I voted to leave his club. Considering how the French refused to join NATO for many years and since joining still wont pay their share of the costs is typical of French politics.Sadly Trump hasn't the wit to stare this pygmy down and call his bluff and instead just looks huffed. Putin must be laughing himself bad.
