Hatlace, Drums, Etc. . .

Just a short photo update this evening. Look closely, and you’ll see that the hatlace – yellow for enlisted men, gold for officers and the senior NCO – has been done along with the drum shells, hoops, cords, and heads. Funny how long it sometimes takes for little things like these!

Anyway, O’Malley’s grenzers are now really starting to look like something. All that remains are the black garters, gaiter buttons, and metallic items (musket barrels, swords, sword baskets, scabbard tips), and some more yellow lace on the drummers’ coats. Hmmmm. Enough to keep me out of trouble for a few days more!

O'Malley's grenzers are looking very nice. Seeing them on the field of battle will surely strike terror into their opponent's hearts.
